Manually Enrolling Learners in Learning Plans

Use this guide to manually enroll learners, groups, or entire branches into a learning plan.

Key Point

You can manually enroll individual learners, groups, or entire branches into a learning plan. Enrollment changes only apply to users selected at the time of enrollment.

Opening A Learning Plan

  1. Open Learning Plans from the left navigation menu.

  1. Click the hyperlinked learning plan name to open its properties page.

  1. Open the Assign/Enroll menu and select Enroll Users.

Enrolling Individual Learners

Tip: There are three ways to enroll learners: selecting individual users, selecting a branch, or selecting groups.

  1. Select the Users tab.
  2. Check the box next to each learner you want to enroll.

Enrolling Entire Branches

  1. Select the Branches tab.
  2. Navigate through the branch hierarchy.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the branch you want to enroll.

  1. Select the Groups tab.
  2. Select one or more groups.

  1. Click Next.

Important Enrollment Rules

Important

If a group is enrolled in a learning plan, users added to that group later will not automatically be enrolled in the learning plan.

If additional users are added to a group after the group has already been enrolled, you must either:

  • Enroll the new learners manually, or
  • Remove and re-enroll the group.
