Changing Learners’ Course Status

Changing A Learner’s Course Status

Use this guide to change a learner’s course status, including manually marking one or more learners as completed.

Key Point

Changing a learner’s status to Completed is useful when training was completed outside of the learning portal, such as during in-person training. Changing a learner back to Enrolled or In Progress does not reset course progress. To reset a course, archive the enrollment and re-enroll the learner.

Opening Course Management

  1. Log in to the UE Learning Portal.
  2. Open the Admin Homepage.
  3. Click Course Management.

Finding The Course

  1. Search for the course the learner is enrolled in.
  2. Click the blue hyperlinked course name to open the course enrollment page.

Changing One Learner’s Status

  1. Locate the learner in the enrollment list.
  2. Hover over the learner’s row and click the three dots to the right of their name.
  3. Click Change Status.
  4. Select the desired status, such as Completed.
  5. Click Change Status to confirm.

Changing Multiple Learners’ Statuses

  1. Select the checkbox next to each learner you want to update.
  2. Or click Select All to select all enrolled learners.
  3. Click Choose Action.
  4. Select Change Status.
  5. Choose the new status.
  6. Confirm the change.

Understanding Status Options

Status What It Means
Enrolled The learner has access to the course but has not started it.
In Progress The learner has started the course but has not completed it.
Completed The learner is marked as having completed the course.
