Running Reports and Viewing Learner Completion Data

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to run reports and view learner completion data in an online learning portal. It covers topics such as viewing data for a specific learner, viewing completion data for a single course, creating custom reports, scheduling reports, and editing reports.

1. Navigate to https://learn.ue.org

2. Click on “Run Reports.”

Viewing a Single Learner’s Data

Tip: Follow these steps if you want to see the completion data for a specific user.

3. Click the “Type user here” field.

4. Type the learner’s name or email address.

5. Click on their name when it appears.

6. Click “GENERATE.”

7. You can view the learner’s statistics, course enrollments, learning plans, and completions.

8. Click “Reports” to return to the Reporting Menu.

Viewing Completion Data for a Single Course

Tip: Follow these steps to see all completions of a specific course.

9. Click the “Type course here” field.

10. Type the course’s name.

11. Click on the course title when it appears in the dropdown menu.

12. Click “GENERATE” to run the report.

13. To download the results, click “Download as PDF”

14. Click “x” to return to the Reporting Menu.

Institution-Wide Course Dashboard

Tip: The course dashboard shows the total number of courses (enrollments, completions, in progress and not started) related to the users.

15. Click “VIEW” under the Courses Dashboard header.

16. Click “Reports” to return to the Reporting Menu.

Creating Custom Reports

17. Click the Plus sign in the upper-right corner to create a new custom report.

18. Select the type of report you would like to run.

19. Click “NEXT” to proceed.

20. Click the “Name*” field.

21. Give your report a descriptive name.

22. Click “CREATE AND EDIT”

23. To add additional filters, click on the “Filters” tab.

Tip: This section has several filters, like who can view the report.

24. Click “VIEW OPTIONS” to set the report fields.

Scheduling Reports

25. Click “SCHEDULE” to schedule your report to be sent out to any valid email address on a regular cadence.

26. Click, “Enable scheduling for this report,” to enable scheduling options.

27. Set the frequency of the report and enter the recipients’ email addresses in the “Email addresses*” field.

Alert: Press enter on your keyboard after you enter a recipient’s email address.

28. Click “SAVE CHANGES” to save your scheduled report.

29. Click “PREVIEW” to see a preview of your report.

Editing a Report

30. From the Reporting Menu, click “CUSTOM REPORTS BUILDER” to view your custom reports.

31. Click on the “…” to open up the menu.

32. Click “Edit” to edit your report.

33. Click “SAVE CHANGES” when you’re done updating your report.
