Accessing the Insights Dashboard

Insights allows you to collect data and useful information on the activities on your platform. With the Insights dashboards, you can instantly get an overview of how learners are using your platform and understand the effectiveness of your training programs.

1. Login to your account at learn.ue.org. From the Admin Homepage, click Insights.

2. There are currently three available dashboards:

  • Course Enrollments & Completions: Displays the overall status of course enrollments and completions on the platform, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness and impact of training programs.
  • Learning Plans: Shows the overall status of learning plan enrollments, progression, and completions in the platform.
  • Users: Provides a comprehensive overview of the user activity and engagement on the platform.

Tips for Using Insights

3. You’ll find the date range filters at the top of the page.

Data Refresh: The data found in the dashboards are refreshed once a day. So, dashboards might not fully cover the data of the previous 24 hours. Similarly, when selecting a filter for your dashboard, the filter will not show any data until the following data refresh.

4. Additional filters are available towards the top on the lefthand side of the page.

5. Make sure to click Confirm to apply your filters.

6. Individual boxes can be exported as a CSV by clicking the three dots that appear when you hover over the box. You can also view more information by clicking, “View summary data.”

7. Common Questions and Answers:

Will Insights remember my filter selection?

Yes, your filter selection is saved. This means that you will find the same filter selection next time you access the dashboard even if you close your navigator. This only applies to a single dashboard and for your user only. Remember to click on Save filters before leaving the page.

Why do I see different data in the Time spent on learning Insights dashboard and a custom report including the same field?

The date filters of the Insights dashboard are based on session times while your custom report filters are based on enrollment dates.

Why is the Time in Seat different from the course length?

Time in Seat is an average. If a learner kept the window open for a long time, but didn’t actually progress through the course, that would still count towards the time in seat.
