Unenrolling Learners from a Learning Plan

Use this guide to remove learners from a learning plan and determine whether they should remain enrolled in the courses associated with that learning plan.

Key Point

When removing learners from a learning plan, you can choose whether they remain enrolled in the courses associated with that learning plan. This option is available for both individual and bulk unenrollment actions.

Opening Learning Plan Enrollments

Click Learning Plans.

Search for the learning plan.

Click on the blue hyperlinked learning plan name to open it.

Click Enrollments.

Unenrolling One Learner

Hover over the learner’s name and click the three-dot action menu.

Click Unenroll.

Select how you would like to handle the learner’s course enrollments and click Unenroll.

Unenrolling Multiple Learners

There are three ways to select learners:

Selection Method	Result
Individual checkboxes	Select specific learners.
Header checkbox	Select all learners on the current page.
Select All	Select all learners across all pages.

Select the learners you want to remove.
Click Choose Action.

Select how course enrollments should be handled.

Click Unenroll to confirm.

Choosing Course Enrollment Options

When removing a learner from a learning plan, you can decide whether they should remain enrolled in the courses associated with the learning plan.

Option	Result
Leave The Checkbox Unchecked	The learner is removed from the learning plan but remains enrolled in the courses.
Check The Checkbox	The learner is removed from the learning plan and can also be removed from associated courses.

Important

If you choose to remove learners from associated courses, you can optionally keep them enrolled in courses they have started or completed.
